I.G.A.
grants are funded through monies raised earlier in this century by Dr.
Wilfred Grenfell, a British missionary doctor, from supporters in Canada,
the USA, as well as Great Britain and Ireland. Used initially to pay for
programs now provided by government, these funds now make possible a grant
program responsive to the needs of coastal communities in Northern
Newfoundland and Labrador.
Requests for funding may be made annually
by completing applications
prior to the NEW DEADLINE OF NOVEMBER 1st.
